How to create these organic sounds?

Hello everyone,

I am a beginner and for a project I’m working on, I’d like to create sounds and musical textures in the style of an artist I really love, Modern Biology, especially this track: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfLS5cj_GKI

I’d love to achieve this kind of sound, but I’m also curious about how he approaches rhythm because it feels very organic—it doesn’t seem to be locked to a typical Logic Pro grid.

I know he works a lot with sounds from mushrooms, but do you think it’s possible to get a similar result in a more traditional way, perhaps using certain VSTs? For reference, I’m working on Logic Pro.

Does anyone have any ideas?
